Sefas UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Philippe Khristy as Managing Director of Sefas Innovation France, effective June 15, 2022. He has also been appointed the Chief Executive Officer of the UK and US subsidiaries. Jean-Philippe Khristy takes over from André Vital, who recently retired after 11 years at the helm of Sefas.
Jean-Philippe Khristy started at Sefas as a junior consultant more than 20 years ago. Promoted on merit, he gradually rose through the ranks: from Consultant, Project Manager, to Director of the consulting team at the European level, then recently Director of the Customer Relations division where he supervised the Sales, Marketing, Consulting, Training and Support teams.
In addition to his responsibilities at Sefas, he also held the EMEA Digital Subscription, Electronic Archiving Sales Department in 2019 and initiated technological bridges between Sefas’s offering and Docaposte’s trust services. An initiative that has notably made it possible to integrate Sefas technology into Docaposte’s digital offering, the latest of which is the Multichannel Platform, Harmonie Communication Suite.
From technology to commerce via marketing, from Sefas to Docaposte, Jean-Philippe has proven himself to be a leader throughout his career, with the ability to coordinate multi-functional teams and to inspire innovation while supporting change.
Resolutely committed to the success of Sefas, Jean-Philippe Khristy has the following missions:
- accelerate the growth of Sefas in a rapidly changing market
- develop new product offerings in connection with Docaposte’s trust services
- actively participate in Docaposte’s international development strategy, due to Sefas’s historical positioning in various markets.

Jean-Philippe Khristy, 49 years old, began his career in 1999 as a project manager and pre-sales consultant at Sefas Innovation. By the age of 29, he was running a desktop publishing production centre for a major social welfare group. In 2006 he returned to Sefas (which was acquired by Docaposte in 2010) as Consulting Manager EMEA and then took on various managerial duties within Docaposte (including Sales Manager EMEA for Digital Subscriptions, Electronic Archiving and CCM in 2019 and then Operations Manager for Sefas in 2021). An engineer by training, he graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille (ENSCL, a grande école) and also holds a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
